Palayag Festival

Municipality of Buenavista Guimaras January

This festival is typically celebrated every third week of January. The event presents songs, dances and musical tableau which depicts the various influences to celebrate the town’s patron saint, Sr. Sto. Niño. “Palayag” means to sail through using a water vessel.
