The Guimaras Island EcoBazaar, a longstanding marketing event organized by DTI-Guimaras, has been hosted in various locations including Iloilo, Boracay, Greenbelt, and Rockwell, Makati over the past 12 years. In collaboration with the Province of Guimaras, the Department of Trade and Industry-Guimaras is hosting the Guimaras Island EcoBazaar 2024 at the Fountain Area of Robinsons Mall Iloilo, last April 24, 2024 until April 30, 2024.
This event serves as a showcase for the competitiveness of Guimaras products, offering a platform for product launches/promotions, market evaluations, and facilitating transactions and negotiations between producers and buyers. It aims to enhance exposure and create more opportunities for Guimaras producers.
Thirty (30) MSMEs representing various industry clusters supported by DTI, including processed fruits and nuts, cacao and coffee, wearables, homestyles, and agri-business sectors like mango and salt, are participating in this event. The week-long fair aims to achieve PhP2,500,000.00 in cash sales from booked orders and ongoing negotiations.
