May 13, 2024 – High value crop farmers, farm owners, and agriculture students explored the production and economic possibilities of the three high-value crops in Guimaras – Coffee, Cacao and Dragon Fruit – from agricultural and business experts.
From the humble pods to flavorful delights, participants and guests learn about Cacao Post Harvest and Processing, Coffee Production and Processing, Dragon Fruit Agri-Entreprenuership and Hydroponics Lettuce Farming. They are also treated with a live demonstration on Tablea making, Chocolate making and Mud House tutorial.
The event was sponsored by the Guimaras Agri-Tourism Farm Owners and Operators, Agriculture Cooperative, Coffee and Cacao Growers Association, Guimaras Dragon Fruit Association, and the Provincial Office for Agricultural Services.
