One of Guimaras’ renowned landmarks stands atop a hill—a summer residence belonging to the Lopez Clan, famously known as Roca Encantada or "Enchanted Rock." Erected in 1910 to honor Dona Presentacion Hofilena Lopez, this house, despite its modern facade, is classified as a "heritage house" by the National Heritage Institute.

Perched on high, Roca Encantada's majestic verandas provide a captivating vista of the beachfront and the Iloilo Strait, with "La Islas de Siete Picados" visible not far from its shores.

Found in Buenavista town, Guimaras, reaching Roca Encantada involves a 15-minute journey from Parola, Iloilo City, to McArthur’s Wharf, where visitors can arrange transportation via the Tourist Assistance Center. From McArthur’s Wharf, it's an additional 45-minute trip to reach Roca Encantada.

Guimaras, formally designated as the Province of Guimaras, constitutes an island province within the Western Visayas region of the Philippines. Jordan serves as its capital. Positioned within the Panay Gulf, it rests amid Panay and Negros islands, bordered by Iloilo to the northwest and Negros Occidental to the southeast. This province is an integral part of the Metro Iloilo-Guimaras, counted among the Philippines' twelve metropolitan areas.

Primarily encompassing Guimaras Island, it also comprises Inampulugan, Guiwanon (or Guiuanon), Panobolon, Natunga, Nadulao, and various nearby islets. Geological studies indicate that the island was once connected as a singular landmass with Panay.

Dating back to 1880, Navalas Church stands as the oldest Roman Catholic church, representing the sole surviving heritage church on Guimaras Island. Its architectural style echoes the design of Jaro Cathedral in Iloilo, owing to Guimaras being under Jaro's influence during the Spanish era.
The church boasts a picturesque garden within its front precincts, enclosed by an aged stone perimeter. Front and center stands a watchtower, historically utilized for early alerts against potential pirate invasions.

Taklong Island, situated in Nueva Valencia, Guimaras, is the primary island within the Taklong Island National Marine Reserve, positioned at the southern tip of Guimaras in the West Visayas region of the Philippines. The University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) oversees a marine biological station on this island. This single-story station, established in 1977 and renovated twice (in 1987 and 2008), occupies a 1.64-hectare plot of land donated to UP in 1964, with Carlos P. Romulo serving as the University President at that time. Donors, including the family of the late Antonio Ortiz, the first Lieutenant Governor of the then SubProvince of Guimaras, contributed to this land grant. Taklong Island was declared a national marine reserve on Feb. 8, 1990, by then President Corazon C. Aquino, when only one family, the Basco family headed by Vicente Basco, resided on the island. Vicente Basco, the sole recognized long-term resident at the time of the island's inclusion in the national marine reserve, had been employed by UPV as the caretaker of its Taklong Island Station since the 1970s until his retirement. Presently, there are UPV personnel, including security guards, stationed on the island.

Guimaras Wind Farm is a project of AC Energy that is envisioned to sustain the yearly power needs of around 42,000 households. It also aimed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, estimated at 1.3 million tons of CO2 over a 20-year project life. The wind farm has a total of 27 Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs), across the four barangays of the municipality of San Lorenzo, Guimaras. Each wind turbine generator has a capacity of 2 MW. In 2014, it became the first wind farm to be connected to the Visayas Grid. Its generated electricity directly goes to the grid, contributing to the power needs of the whole Visayas.

Holy Family Hills is around fifty-three (53) hectares wide and is situated at Brgy. Tamburong, San Lorenzo. The pilgrimage site was established in 2000 with the purpose of providing a peaceful place for refuge and reflection. Scattered around the property are the life-size statues showing scenes from the Stations of the Cross and the Crucifixion of Christ. There are also statues of St. Michael the Archangel, John Paul II, St. Jude Thaddeus, St. Therese of Lisieux, Our Lady of Guadalupe, St. Pio of Pietrelcina, Mother Teresa of Calcutta and St. Francis of Assisi. It is a place for spiritual renewal and home for various religious structures that make it conducive for prayer, meditation, recollection and other religious activities.

The Guimaras Landmark is located at the front of the Guimaras Provincial Capitol. It is a painted concrete structure, forming the word "GUIMARAS" with a height of 2 meters. The landmark was constructed in 2016 with the aim of providing a distinguishable marker for the Province. It has been popular among foreign and local tourists who love taking souvenir photos during their trips to the Province.

The Jordan Town Plaza was founded in Brgy. Poblacion, Jordan. It only has a total area of 677 square meters. Because of this, the plaza was given the title of "Smallest Town Plaza'' in the whole Philippines by the "Western in the Philippines" column of the Philippine Free Press on January 4, 1960. The Jordan Town Plaza faces the Roman Catholic Church and is surrounded by hills. It is approximately 250 meters from Jordan Municipal Hall. In the center of the plaza stands the statue of former Philippine President Ramon Magsaysay who visited the island in the early 1950s. President Magsaysay was the first Philippine President to visit Guimaras.

Guisi Lighthouse is located in Sitio Guisi, Brgy. Dolores, Nueva Valencia. It is 1 hour and a half travel for visitors coming from Jordan Wharf, Rizal, Jordan. It was built by the Spanish Government in 1896 as part of the master plan for the lighting of the Maritime Coasts of the Philippine Archipelago. The Guisi Lighthouse serves as a navigational aid to fishermen and sailors crossing Panay Gulf. The original lighthouse still exists but is no longer operational. Thus, the Philippine Coast Guard built a new solar-powered lighthouse adjacent to Guisi Lighthouse as its replacement.
