The Provincial Employment Service Office (PESO) of Guimaras brought home six (6) Recognition Awards at the 2026 Western Visayas PESO Congress held last August 18, 2026 at the Iloilo Grand Xing Hotel.

These awards, given by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Regional Office VI, recognize PESO Guimaras’ excellence in core employment facilitation functions, from jobseeker registration and referral, to vacancy solicitation, applicant placement, GIP absorption, and job fair implementation.
This success also supports the Kabataan FIRST Agenda 2.0 especially its focus on Tourism, Trade, Investment, and Employment. By helping connect jobseekers with employers and creating more access to job opportunities, PESO Guimaras continues to play an important role in providing employment and helping build a stronger local economy.
