The Nueva Valencia Multi-Purpose Cooperative proudly celebrates its 38th Annual General Assembly, bringing together members from different barangays across Nueva Valencia in one meaningful gathering at their pavilion.
For the first time, the Provincial Economic Development Officer, Francisco E. Gentoral, joined the event. He highlighted upcoming agri-fishery plans and projects of Congressman JC Rahman A. Nava, MD, and Governor Ma. Lucille L. Nava, MD, aimed at helping the island become more self-sufficient, especially in these challenging times.
He also noted that more than half of Guimarasโ population is aged 29 and below, emphasizing the importance of the older generation in guiding and educating the youth about cooperativesโfor a stronger and more sustainable future.
