The Provincial Economic Development Office (PEDO) convened its 2027 Annual Planning and Budget Session on July 9, 2026, at the GTIC Function Hall, bringing together key stakeholders to chart the direction for the year ahead.
The session opened with a presentation of the objectives and priorities of KabataanFIRST 2.0, followed by a progress report on the KabataanFIRST program. Participants also reviewed the 2026 First Semester Performance, covering physical and financial highlights, variances, and key accomplishments.
Discussions moved forward with a look at the remaining 2026 implementation plan, a deep dive into critical constraints and corresponding fast-track actions, and the drafting of proposed adjustments for the rest of 2026.
The session reflects PEDO’s continued commitment to data-driven planning and responsive program implementation as it works toward stronger outcomes for Guimarasnons in the year ahead.
