250 CANADIANS AND AMERICANS EXPLORE GUIMARAS ISLAND, HOME OF WORLD-CLASS MANGOES AND MORE

Guimaras Province recently played host to 250 enthusiastic Canadians and Americans as they embarked on the 8th Winter Escapade, an annual tour organized by the Embassy and Consulates General of the Philippines in Canada, in collaboration with the Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Tourism, and Tourism Promotions Board.

During their memorable visit to Guimaras, the tour participants had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the island’s rich ecotourism offerings, as well as indulge in the delectable world-famous mangoes that the Province is renowned of. The Provincial Government of Guimaras represented by Senior Board Member Felipe Hilan Nava warmly welcomed the guests and showcased the island’s exceptional agricultural resources, highlighting the potential for trade tourism and collaboration opportunities.

Guimaras, known for its breathtaking natural beauty and sustainable ecotourism practices, stands as an attractive destination for international visitors.

As the bonds between Guimaras and its international visitors continue to strengthen, the Island Province invites all to #InvestinGuimaras and explore the abundance of opportunities that await in this vibrant and dynamic province.
