The visit was led by the Municipal Mayor of Municipality of Surallah, South Cotabato, Hon. Pedro M. Matinong, Jr. Together with him were the Municipal Councilors, Department Heads and Program Coordinators of the municipality. The visit was part of their benchmarking activity to improve their projects and programs related to boosting their tourism industry.
The group was welcomed by Executive Assistants of the Provincial Governor, Mr. Jerry Gaitan and Mr. Lino Galea along with the Private Secretary of the Governor, Ms. Yvette Pallada.
The Provincial Economic Development Office provided a short orientation on what Guimaras has to offer and an introduction to the 3-Year Development Agenda of the Provincial Governor, the Kabataan FIRST Agenda.
