The Provincial Government of Guimaras will hold an Agri-Fishery Investment Forum on August 31, 2023 at Guimaras Mountain Resort, Pina-Daragan, Buenavista, Guimaras. This activity is in partnership with the Department of Agriculture (DA) – Philippine Rural Development Project (I-PLAN).
This one-day forum will promote six (6) major and priority commodities as identified in several conducted value chain studies. These identified priority commodities are Swine, Chicken, Goat, Mango, Coconut and Bangus. The activity will be an opportunity for market matching, dialogue with private investors on business opportunities, and create partnerships with the local government, organizations, stakeholders and private sector.
With Guimaras’ Economic Development Roadmap anchored on Kabataan #FIRST Agenda and the DA’s strategic focus on agricultural productivity of the priority commodities, this activity will provide an avenue to present priority investment areas of the Province of Guimaras.
