Smallest Plaza

The Jordan Town Plaza was founded in Brgy. Poblacion, Jordan. It only has a total area of 677 square meters. Because of this, the plaza was given the title of “Smallest Town Plaza” in the whole Philippines by the “Western in the Philippines” column of the Philippine Free Press on January 4, 1960. The Jordan Town Plaza faces the Roman Catholic Church and is surrounded by hills. It is approximately 250 meters from Jordan Municipal Hall. In the center of the plaza stands the statue of former Philippine President Ramon Magsaysay who visited the island in the early 1950s. President Magsaysay was the first Philippine President to visit Guimaras.
