The Department of Tourism VI in partnership with the Provincial Government of Guimaras, conducts Training on Regional Accreditation to Tourism Officers. The training aims to educate, inform, and update Tourism Officers of Western Visayas on the processes, guidelines, and new policies about DOT accreditation for primary and secondary tourism enterprises.
It was attended by Tourism Officers and Representatives from 5 Municipalities of Guimaras.
The benefits of being accredited in DOT may include marketing and promotional support, endorsements to embassies and travel trade associations, eligibility for participation in travel fairs, and priority to DOT training programs.
