Guimaras, Philippines – The Cooperative Section of the Provincial Economic Development Office recently conducted a productive meeting with the members of the San Lorenzo Vegetable Growers Association in Cabano, San Lorenzo, Guimaras. The meeting aimed to facilitate data collection, improve record-keeping practices, and enhance financial management within the association.
During the meeting, coaching sessions were conducted with the association’s treasurer to enhance their skills in accurately recording cash transactions in the Cash Book. Emphasis was placed on the importance of precise financial recording and reporting, with guidance provided on optimal methods for managing cash transactions and maintaining financial records.
Subsequent follow-up sessions may be arranged to address any further inquiries or issues that may arise, with ongoing support and guidance offered to ensure the implementation of effective financial management practices within the association.
