Inter-Agency Meeting for the Establishment of Livelihood Resource Network
On August 20, 2025, PEDO successfully conducted an orientation with key stakeholders to discuss the establishment of Livelihood Resource Network, to strengthen the province’s ability to connect, coordinate and mobilize resources for community-based organizations, cooperatives, and MSMEs in the province. This initiative, led by PEDO aims to create a more integrated and accessible platform for livelihood programs and resources offered by various National Government Agencies in the province of Guimaras.
The meeting was attended by representatives from Department of labor and Employment (DOLE), Provincial Agrarian Reform Provincial Office, Cooperatives Development Authority (CDA), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Landbank Guimaras, DA -Agricultural Program Coordinating Office, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA)-Region VI, Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources BFAR.
PEDO is grateful for the partnerships and valuable inputs of our stakeholders. Together, we are one-step closer to creating a livelihood resource network that will empower our community-based organizations, promote collaboration, and improve local economic growth in the province of Guimaras.
