May 14, 2024 – Our Bangus, a primary commodity in Guimaras, is highlighted in the celebration of Manggahan Festival as one of the #ManggadsangGuimaras.
During the BANGUS DAY celebration last May 14, 2024, fisherfolks, fish pen operators and agri-fishery entrepreneurs from the Katilingban sa mga Gagmay nga Mangingisda sa Alegria, Pandaraonan Unified Association, and GSU students learned and enjoyed the free lectures on Milkfish Production in Ponds and Milkfish Production in Cages from Fishery Experts.
Participants and guests also treated with a live cooking demo on Bangus-inspired recipes, and feasted on a bangus salo-salo afterwards.
