February 13, 2024 – The Provincial Economic Development Office Guimaras partnered with the Provincial Office for Agricultural Services to enhance programs for farmers in the Guimaras Province.
They presented a Demand Study for Agricultural Products in selected establishments, aiming to inform farmers and fishermen about market demand and reduce reliance on imported goods. The meeting discussed recommendations to identify capable farmer associations, assess their readiness, and facilitate the establishment of sales contracts and agreements to connect producers with buyers. The collaboration seeks to empower farmers and improve the agricultural sector in Guimaras.
