On the 20th of March, The Province of Guimaras finally opened the Kabataan FIRST Innovation Hub, led by Governor JC Rahman A. Nava and Guimaras Lone District Congresswoman Ma. Lucille L. Nava, MD. This project offers training and coaching, business resource information and business to business matching. It also aims for opportunities for the youths, MSMEs, returning overseas Filipino workers(OFWs), local businesses and out of school youths.
The launching ceremony was attended by youths from different schools, entrepreneurs and our partners that made this project possible, Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT-U), Youth First Initiative through FyrLab Accelerator, Department of Science and Technology Region VI (DOST), and coordinating agencies: Department of Interior and Local Government Region VI (DILG) and Department of Trade and Industry Region VI (DTI).
The launching of the KABATAAN FIRST Innovation hub was facilitated by the Provincial Economic Development Office and headed by EnP. Francisco Gentoral.
