The Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), in partnership with the Provincial Economic Development Office (PEDO), conducted a two-day orientation and hands-on training on the Cooperative Assessment Information System (CAIS) on March 6-7, 2025, at the Agri-Fishery Center Conference Room, San Miguel, Jordan, Guimaras.
CAIS, an innovative online platform developed by CDA, streamlines the submission and processing of mandatory cooperative reports. The activity aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of Guimaras-based cooperatives in using the system.
Attended by 47 representatives from 27 cooperatives, the event was led by CDA Regional Director Antonio C. Escobar. By the end of the training, four cooperatives successfully submitted their reports online, while others are preparing to complete their submissions pending the audit of their financial statements.
With ongoing support from PEDO and CDA, remaining cooperatives are expected to meet the April 30, 2025, submission deadline.
