A joint venture of Sibunag Aquafarmers Fishermen Cooperative (SAFC), Buenavista Aquafarmers Fishermen Cooperative (BAFC), and Pandaraonan Unified Fishermen Cooperative (PUFC), this cooperative — initiated by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in partnership with the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) and the Provincial Government of Guimaras — will provide fresh, high-quality, and affordable seafood to our communities while strengthening fisherfolk livelihoods across our three coastal municipalities.

KOICA supported the cooperative with capacity-building, organizational development, and essential resources to ensure sustainability and improved market access. The inauguration was honored by KOICA guests Ms. Nam Su Min (Center Director), Mr. Dohyun Lee, Mr. Jinyong Kim, and Ms. Hari Jang; BFAR Provincial Head Mr. Mateo Doyola Jr.; and representatives from PEDO led by Francisco E. Gentoral, along with POAS representatives.
